“Remember, it’s just a game. It doesn’t matter. In fact, nothing matters. We have to create our own meaning in life. For example, it would mean a lot to me if pitching started to matter to you.”
#2
“And have you considered empathizing with the stupid, sorry little son of a bitch?”
#3
“Things fall apart. The center cannot hold. Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world. Details at eleven.”
#4
“Do you ever wish you’d brought along something to read?”
Of course, I love cartoon #4. Adrienne gave me a t-shirt that says, “Born to read. Forced to socialize.” I’ve always said that I hope there’s a library in heaven, or I’m going to have to pack a helluva lot of books.📕
So am I, Neola, and very grateful to see you here.❣️❣️
Adrienne
Yes, hands down #4 is has Sharon’s name written all over it.
Oddly, there is something about #1 for me. You think it is going one way, but then it comes back to what was originally expected.
Adrienne — I have NO idea why you would think #4 has my name written all over it. 😏

We’re watching a lot of baseball. I love #1 for all the reasons!
I remember our friend Gwen was buried with some of her favorite books in her coffin. Maybe I’ll be cremated with a favorite poetry book or poem.
I had forgotten that our beloved Gwen was buried with some of her favorite books which no doubt included a Mary Oliver volume or other poetry. It was Gwen who fueled my passion for poetry. I’m forever grateful.🙏❤️
WOW! I love, love, love seeing you here, Andi. Thanks for taking a moment to laugh and comment.❤️

Wow Am I the only one to love #3. I laughed out loud.
Maybe I am too preoccupied with the center holding.
I’m with Carol. Soooo good to have cartoons back.

I have always suspected that therapists and counselors sometimes catch themselves thinking some variation of the caption in cartoon #2.
My mind is still a blank but I’m here. ❤️

Just to say…fun to have these back!
It was fun combing through my cartoons to choose ones that had that peculiar sassy insouciance or inappropriateness that I just LOVE.❤️
Cute! I can relate to #1. 😀

Charlotte—I LOVED #3 which is why it made the cut for an “Ignite” cartoon. Details at eleven. ❤️
