    I can’t decide which cartoon is my favorite.

    The jerk in #5 is smoking a cigarette and the woman in bed with him looks like his wife’s sister. Both women look miserable. However, I love how the cartoon calls out the pretentiousness of one’s “creative process.”

    I laughed at all of them. #5 is really terrific.

      Score! You laughed at ALL of them, Charlotte! I did, too, when I first saw each one years ago.

    Marriage might not be funny but I hope everyone gets in some good laughs with their partners. It’s a secret to success!

      So great to see your comment here, Jeanne. Thank you.

      You have a wonderful marriage with a wonderful partner.

      As you may have witnessed when we visit you two love birds, Adrienne and I laugh more than anything else in our relationship. Yes, it’s one of the secrets to success. So are patience and forgiveness.💕

    It’s hard to choose for me.

    But here’s my order:
    #2, so ironic;
    #5, so true,
    #1, so New York.

    The other two, meh.

      Adrienne, I like #4. What makes it particularly funny is, “The good silver!” What a betrayal!

    1 – as I like the play on words with “schlepped.”

      I’m not even sure what “schlepped” means. Hold the phone . . . I shall look it up.

      “. . . to carry, drag, or haul something heavy and awkward with great effort, or to trudge slowly and tediously from one place to the other.”

      Guess I schlepped with corporate America back in the day.
