“I always imagined my little cartoons on plates for some reason,” said Roz Chast, an award-winning cartoonist for the New Yorker with a quirky style. Which of the following four cartoons do you like the best . . . because it most rings true for you?

I am going with cartoon #3 — the Roz Chast take on getting organized. I believe I got my organizing skills from my parents who treated empty cartons like holy relics. They also believed that a plastic container — no matter what size — will hold ANYTHING, plus its lid could be used as a serving tray.

While I am on vacation I go with cartoon #1 for sure. When I get home I am with you on cartoon #3 –the house is actually a huge storage bin. HA–to stay on vacation forever is ok with me. Thanks for the laughs.

#3 for sure. I’m thinking she could create one for downsizing that begins with the house and emptying all those boxes of crap … which is where I am now (well, not right now, as I’m on vacation, too!)

Looks like #3 is most true for many of us. I thought for sure someone would identify with “your mama” in cartoon #1.

No question–Number 3! I’m still sorting out boxloads that have been sitting in our basement for 28 years!

Carol — perhaps you’ll find those infamous weapons of mass destruction in your basement . . .

I wish it was #3, but it is #1. I don’t think I’ve counted a calorie in my life. Missing is “Who cares?”

Yeah, who cares? Preach it, sister.
