The guy in #1 and #2 appears to be the same guy. The women are different, though it may be the same woman who has dyed her hair to see if — let’s call him, Clive — will notice. Absent or present, he’s getting some action.

There are worse things than your partner bringing a harmonica to bed (#3). It could have been a banjo.
Also, that guitar in cartoon #4 could have a banjo. Small mercies.
