These cartoons run the gamut from rather intelligent literary tie-ins to outright bad puns and kind-of icky suggestions. With the exception of #2, one has to take a beat to get the punchline which, for me, makes a cartoon really work.
So . . . I think I will go with #1. And, in my proprietary cartoon file, I have a couple about the dish running away with the spoon.
Loving #2 because I need easy laughs these days! Thank moo! 😉
Kelly, you are udderly welcome.
I’m with you. #1 is great laughs.
Look forward to the laughs
It HAS to be #3 for me! Thanks for the hayku humor!
Of course I posted #3 with you in mind, Beth! ❤️✍🏻
I’m with Beth. #3 is perfect, right down to the attire. #1 is a close second.
I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen Beth in a beret . . .
May need to work on my haiku performance apparel. Is that a cigarette in his hoof?
Beth, the cow is a poet, for crying out loud. It’s a doobie. It symbolizes that the cow reading and the audience paying attention is always a joint effort.
