Help! Lost in Cyberspace!

THIS IS A TEST POST. SERIOUSLY.

After too much time working on the problem, neither Adrienne (a tech professional) nor I (a tech idiot) can figure out why some of the subscribers to Spark and Spitfire are not receiving email notifications about new posts, including Adrienne and me. If you received an email notification about this post (be sure to check your spam and trash bins), please indicate that you did in a comment or let me know in an email, text or smoke signal. My blog platform indicates that all emails have been sent successfully. That is not the case, and it is frustrating the living bejesus out of me.

THANK YOU!

“Can you be more specific?” The answer to this question in above cartoon is no doubt related to technology. Technology supposedly makes it possible for people to gain control over everything except technology.

  • I DID receive a notification about this post because I experimented and used an alternative email address — my Verizon address — for a notification. However, I found it in my spam folder. I experimented with the Verizon address to see if I would receive a notification because I have NOT been receiving notifications in my iCloud/Mac email as I have since I began this blog in 2018.

    I am completely vexed.

  • I just took a quick look and I think I’ve been getting all the notifications for your posts, thank God 💕

    • Thanks for letting me know, Neola. A few readers get the notifications and a few don’t, but there is no rhyme or reason.

I am thinking of undergoing “major maintenance” over the holidays to isolate the problem; in other words, going offline, but if I do, I’ll let everyone know.
